Often you have to fill in the rows of a spreadsheet using data from a database. For this reason it will be highly useful for you to use this plug-in called Excel MS SQL Server Import (whose full name is Excel MS SQL Server Import, Export & Convert Software).

Excel MS SQL Server Import adds itself to MS Excel and lets you, from the same spreadsheet, link to the data in an MS SQL database, letting you import/export tables from/to databases in MS SQL Server 2000 or 2005.

With Excel MS SQL Server Import you can read and write in the database tables from MS Excel without needing to know anything about SQL. To be able to add this plug-in you need MS Excel 2000 or later.
